Heart Spill (Last Entry)

This is a decision that I have not disclosed to anyone, but it is one I intend to make permanent. I have thought about the ending of this journal for quite some time, but have always lacked the conviction to follow through with my resolve.

After many moments of contemplation, I choose to enact the decision borne of my first instincts. I shall no longer write or publicly publish within this WordPress account. What I have written here thus far shall remain here.  This website shall remain mine and I will not disable or delete this account.

There is a total of more than eight hundred comments – contained within a mere one hundred and thirty posts – and nearly thirty thousand page views. Though these statistics are minute on the larger scale of this growing environment of online writing and blogging, this feedback has been very supportive. Thank you.

I do not have an answer to the question why. I cannot tell you why I chose this moment.

I can tell you that this is not the end of my writing.
